I can’t explain enough how amazing The Abbey is. From the minute we walked in, we knew that this was going to be our wedding venue. Arizbeth and her team were absolutely amazing from start to finish and nothing was ever too much trouble, they were always there to answer any questions and made the whole planning experience as stress free as possible.  The food is still being talked about months after our wedding! 3Cooks who look after the food are absolutely out of this world and it was top class on the day. Every corner of The Abbey is beautiful; the reception room is divine, the rich colours of  the walls and chandeliers give it that touch of class and elegance. Our photos are just fabulous! We had the best day. Thank you for giving us the wedding of our dreams. 

We had our wedding at The Abbey on the 2nd September this year and it was absolutely incredible! The venue is stunning, the food was absolutely delicious and the service was 5 stars! We couldn’t recommend The Abbey enough if you are planning your wedding. All of our guests commented on what an amazing venue it was – every detail was perfect! The weekend ran so smoothly and we were looked after so well. Also it was great to have a venue that is private just for your wedding as I found this made the day extra personal. Thank you to Arizbeth and all of the staff for everything. We are so grateful! 

We got married on 31.10.23 and can honestly say it was perfect from start to finish for the 3 nights we were there. Arizbeth, Gwen and their team are a wonder to behold and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They were prompt at replying to emails and helped us with any questions and queries we had. The food was out of this world, all of our guests commented on how good it was – the caterers, 3 Cooks, are truly masters of their craft. We essentially had a fine dining experience as our wedding meal. Arizbeth checked in multiple times with us over the course of the few days and it was amazing having her number to text with any questions in the week leading up to the wedding. The day itself was flawless and coordinated to perfection. To any future prospective couples, you will not regret choosing The Abbey. We truly had the best days of our lives.

We held our two day wedding at The Abbey on 8th and 9th September 2023. It’s safe to say it was perfect. The staff are so professional and friendly and nothing is too much for them. The venue is beautiful and all our guests were blown away by how it was both beautiful and quirky. Many described it as a hidden gem. Moving into the chapel for dancing was the icing on the cake, and breaking up the evening really avoided a post-meal-full-belly lull and the dance floor was full all night long. The food was absolutely out of this world, everyone was raving about it and so many people told me it was by far the best food they had ever had at a wedding. Arizbeth is just amazing. She made sure everything was perfect and is so helpful in the run up to the big day. I really hope I get to attend The Abbey as a guest in the future as it really is out of this world!

Our guests are still talking about our wedding, everything was perfect. Arizbeth ensured that everything went to plan from the day of enquiry to the moment we said “I Do”. We would 100% recommend The Abbey. The pre meal the night before was a great way to mix with our guests before the wedding and the food was amazing! The venue is beautiful to making for stunning photo opportunities.

We celebrated our big day at The Abbey and it was perfect! Arizbeth is so easy to work with and super accommodating to make sure everything will be perfect! We couldn’t be happier to have chosen the Abbey as our wedding venue, our guests were in love with it, the staff is so kind and nothing is too much for them. Our guests can’t stop talking about the amazing food. The Best man is a chef and even he said that the food was better than some of the 5 star restaurants! We weren’t sure if the food for the next day will be enough but omg sure it was and delicious again! Arizbeth and the team, thank you so much for helping us celebrating the best days of our lives.
